Caution: As ATRAMAT PGLA90 RAPID is a resorbable suture material, it is contraindicated in cases where extended tissue support is required for an undefined period. Caution is advised when using it in elderly, malnourished, and immunocompromised patients, in whom the critical wound healing phase may be prolonged.

ATRAMAT PGLA90 RAPID is a multifilament braided, absorbable surgical suture of synthetic origin. ATRAMAT PGLA90 RAPID exhibits minimal tissue reaction at the microscopic level after implantation and during resorption. It offers a predictable resorption rate and high tensile strength, exceeding the USP standard. Thus, ATRAMAT PGLA90 RAPID provides crucial tissue support, especially during the critical healing period. Tip: As with most braided materials, a square knot with two or three additional wraps is recommended. The knot ends should be 2 to 3 mm long.
