ATRAMAT® Nylon

ATRAMAT NYLON is a monofilament, non-absorbable surgical suture of synthetic origin. Its high tensile strength and controlled elongation ensure secure adaptation of wound edges. Its smooth tissue penetration, combined with a precise needle-to-thread transition, minimizes tissue trauma and thus promotes optimal wound healing. These physical properties, coupled with minimal tissue reaction, make it an ideal suture material for a wide variety of tissue types.

Caution: Although ATRAMAT NYLON is a non-absorbable suture material, progressive hydrolysis in vivo can lead to a gradual loss of tensile strength over time. Therefore, it is not suitable for indications where permanent suture stability is required.
