The oxygen content of the tissue surrounding an implant is of paramount importance for long-term implant success. A high oxygen concentration can always be assumed when thick bone layers surround the implant, thus ensuring good vascular supply. Implant-abutment geometries should therefore be designed so that their shape follows the transverse relief of the alveolar bone. The narrowest point is where the alveolar process is also narrowest: at the ridge crest, where the connection to the oral cavity lies. The i-system Implant and i-LiNQ® Implant, with their NarrowHybridDesign, follow precisely this design principle. The deep anchorage of the implant in the bone and the reduction of the emergence profile to a maximum diameter of 3.0 mm ensure well-vascularized bone thickness, even at the ridge crest. This is because oxygen is the most effective antidote to bacteria that cause peri-implantitis.
The i-system Implant is a three-part implant system consisting of the implant, the i-LiNQ® component, and the abutment. The i-system Implant is inserted 2-3 mm subcrestally and heals under closed conditions. The i-LiNQ® component is inserted into the implant during uncovering and is not removed: One Time – One Abutment. Re-entry into the bone level during prosthetic restoration is therefore unnecessary. Various options are available for fixed and removable prostheses.

The i-LiNQ® implant is a two-piece implant that integrates the i-LiNQ® component into a single unit. It relocates the internal connection from the implant to the abutment, resulting in several biological and biomechanical advantages. At the same time, prosthetic handling is significantly simplified, as it takes place within the gingival level. Therefore, re-entry into the bone is unnecessary.
The i-LiNQ® implant combines two different philosophies in a single implant through its wing-like thread design and the specially adapted drilling protocol: the primary stability of a progressive screw implant and the formation of highly vascularized bone tissue between the thread flanks, as with a classic plateau implant. And because the internal connection is moved from the implant into the abutment, this "wing design" with its biological advantages is already achieved with a thin implant diameter.
Thus, i-LiNQ®Implant efficiently realizes our implantological concept "More room for bone" to develop healthy peri-implant biology.
Depending on bone quality, the i-LiNQ® implant can heal in the traditional way or, in suitable cases, be loaded immediately. An implant, completely reimagined.

Cementless insertion of prosthetics.
i-LiNQ® enables cementless intraoral placement of all prosthetic restorations. With a steep cone angle of 1.5°, both abutment retention and force transmission to the implant occur exclusively via the physical mechanism of cold welding. Thus, i-LiNQ® eliminates another factor contributing to the development of peri-implantitis.

Raising awareness.
Therapeutic safety.
Many patients associate implants with extensive treatment and high costs, especially when only a small amount of residual bone remains.
Therefore, in many cases, patients opt for conservative prosthetic concepts, even though they desire fixed teeth. This is either to preserve healthy tooth structure, to restore secure chewing function after years of tooth loss, or simply to regain a beautiful smile.
i-system and i-LiNQ® fulfill this wish:
Simple – Predictable – Cost-efficient.
With i-system and i-LiNQ® you can solve almost any clinical situation.
The key lies in the geometry, because i-system and i-LiNQ® fundamentally improve biomechanics, bone healing and oxygen supply.
Within the i-system implant geometry, a particularly vascularized bone tissue develops, capable of withstanding high loads. In combination with optimized load transfer to the bone, i-system and i-LiNQ® implants can therefore be designed without excessive length.
This reduction in length results in superior preservation of peri-implant blood and oxygen supply, thus significantly reducing the risk of peri-implantitis.
i-system and i-LiNQ® ensure a high level of therapeutic safety.
More options.
Hand in hand.
i-system and i-LiNQ® is our further development of the classic plateau anchor geometry.
Innovative ideas, Swiss precision, and state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities are the foundation of i-system and i-LiNQ®. Novodent SA, a member of the Swiss Medtech Association, is a globally active company that manufactures dental implants "made in Switzerland".
Visions are born in the Research & Development Department of Novodent SA. Here, ideas are discussed, refined, and clinically tested together with engineers and material specialists.
In this way, we have successfully brought extremely forward-looking new products to series production in an extremely short time.
i-system and i-LiNQ® represent modern medicine.
We have achieved this.
In collaboration with scientific centers, we subject our products to international university testing. Safety arises from knowledge. Knowledge arises from studies. Therefore, we support research projects in universities and industry that engage with our development work on a scientific level.
We want to continue growing with this form of external supervision until i-system and i-LiNQ® are the reference products in dental implantology.
Let our work inspire you in your daily practice and clinic routine.
